When it emerges that factory worker Iva is the first Covid case in rural Bulgaria, despite not having left her town in years, she finds herself confronted by an entire community that turns against her. As the death toll rises, she is made a scapegoat and a spiral of thought begins about the exploitation of the factory, the capitalization of Bulgaria and the machinery that drives Europe itself.
