In UTA we get to know an outstanding person and go on a journey of a dramatic family history with the beginning of the 20th century. Uta, a busker, is almost blind. She and her partner, musician and cabaret artist, live a modest life on the breadline – but they are happy. Against the background of the history of the last century, the Animadoc UTA tells us the story of an impressive personality who – despite all the underwent misfortune – countered life always with an open and gracious heart.
